Wait...first two? So they are skipping 3? TH3 was the best and should really be a part of this pack.

@Ellimem Should've been included, but doesn't rule out the possibility of a DLC addon at some point.

This became overly complicated very quickly.

Let's hope this digital package is full of stuff and delivers a classic THPS experience.

I am slightly okay with remakes of 10-year-old games. I don't think I am at all okay with DLC for remakes of 10-year-old-games.

@Ellimem that's when the series started to suck. The first two and possibly underground 1 were the only good ones.

@totalysharly Underground came after 4, which added the last worthwhile thing in the series: Spine transfers. 3 added tons of features that weren't in 2 and was a much better overall game than both 1 and 2.

In short: You couldn't be more wrong with that statement.

I'm guessing TH3 is seen as valuable enough to release as a remastered version by itself. 1 and 2 are similar enough to be combined, 3 is a bit more of a leap from what I can remember (basically nothing despite having played the **** out of the first 3 and some of 4).

@Dick Socrates they could be testing the waters and if this sells they should remaster 3 which was a great game imo and the best stake boarding game ever.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have DLC of levels from the third game in a bundle that costs as much as a new retail game.

Oh look... We have a once great series. This series decided to be dumbed down and jump away from its roots, in hopes of better profits.

That series died off because of the switch. The publisher in order to bring it back to life, has return to their roots.

Seriously? Publishers and Developers need to keep their IPs onto their roots. Ditching them means you are ditching your loyal fanbase and negativity arises, which is a no no.

Not that hard, innovate within your roots. Don't Ditch Them!!!

@LinkRazr Wasn't 3 the one where they went ultra-goofy, the haunted house and the airport shite?

I think 2 was the summit for the series, but I don't know if I'm remembering correctly with all you guys saying 3.

@picaso trigger Well, I think the point everyone's agreeing on is that 3 was the best gameplay-wise, even if it got a little goofy. Reverts added a ton to the combo system without stretching it out in unneeded directions, like Nail the Trick or on-foot sections. It made vertical skating viable for big combos, which I always found missing from 1 and 2.

@Once known as Shadsy

Yeah, but it just says they're taking levels from 1 and 2, which is fine by me I hated the levels in 3 ... even with gameplay advances.

I kind of expected something like this to come from EA and the Skate franchise, where'd they go back and make a retro version with all the skaters we grew up with... but this as Arcade download is fine too.

This joker doesn't need another video game. Skateboarding games in general needs to go on hold. Time for a new BMX game. Dave Mirra or Matt Hoffman need to make a come back.

Day 1. THPS and THPS2 remain my two most-played games ever. Wish the levels were ALL there, tho.

THPS3 would be great, but if I was a betting man I would say the inclusion would break game mechanics. 3 was the first that you could do hip-transfers. There were a lot of levels in 1&2 that could likely be broken with that in there.

Extra points if they include the park editor from 2.
