The fact I have to sign up for a new account with them gave me enough time to realize I don't really need any of these.

That annoyed me too, hence why I haven't jumped the gun yet, but I really want Serious Sam Double D...

Yeah, they dropped the ball with this one. There's no reason I should need to create an account in order to give people money. If they want me to create an account, they should give me something for free.. Alternatively, they really need to spell out why they want me to make an account, in plain-speak (because I'm sure it's buried somewhere in legalese, but I'm not going to read that).

You need to create an account because it's an online store doing the bundle. Their own Digital Distribution store. So you get the games from them.

It's basically a, "I see what you did there..." moment

Serious Sam Double D is really the only one I'd want.

But does anyone know if you can activate any of them on steam?

As far as I'm aware, only the game you covet.

Just noticed that is actually some digital platform, so I will pass on that and stick with humblebundle. I dont need other accounts. Im already signed up to 5 of them as it is - for the free games, one (greenmangaming) made my virus scanners freak out calling it a trojan. o.O

And the other games not being on steam, make me not interested as well. Hurray.

Double D was the only game I wanted when I bought this two days ago (have most of the others), then I didn't get a Steam key for it... Emailed them about it and they've said they'll get it sorted, but nothing yet.

You are able to get it for free, but they disabled free ones to catch up on the people who actually payed, but you can try.

Thats kind of funny though
"THE MINIMUM YOU CAN PAY IS 1.50. THE MAXIMUM IS 1BN. OR YOU CAN PAY 0, BUT REMEMBER IT’S FOR CHARITY!"

Minimum is 1.50, but you can pay 0? What? lol

Yeah, really bad wording. I think they mean you can pay nothing if you want, but if you want to pay *something* there is a minimum because of processing fees.

No Steam = no thanks. I already have Frozen Synapse, and don't really care about the others.

Yeah, I was even willing to create an account to give them money because I wanted Serious Sam Double D that much, but I refused to continue when I discovered that your real name, phone number and physical address are required information.

Seriously, your physical address is required. TO DOWNLOAD A DIGITAL INDIE GAME BUNDLE OVER THE INTERNET. *facepalms*

These guys have absolutely no idea how indie bundles or the concept of "free" work.

What's not free about it, other than the surrendering of information you don't want to part with? Or is that your point...

It was my point, but they also have a minimum payment of 1.50 despite advertising that you can pay nothing on the same page. You can't pay nothing, it's a lie.

I checked this out right before I got the Humble Indie Bundle (which is fantastic this time). Unfortunately I didn't see anything that interested me except maybe Explodemon. The video made it look like a cross between Mega Man and Splosion Man.

If you want to donate directly to devs and get DRM-free products, then this is for you. If you want to pay Valve AND the dev, and have the games only accessible through Steam for the rest of your life, then this is not for you.

I think it's odd that this is being covered, but the 99 Percent Bundle is being ignored.

Since I'm not willing to give them my physical address to create an account for a DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION STORE (Why would they possibly need that information?) I tried to download the bundle for free. You have to manually type in 0 for this, the slider won't go below 1.50.

This took me to a screen saying they were "out of stock" on the free bundles right now.

Out of stock. Of a freely and infinitely copy-able digital product. Whuuu? That makes no sense!

Maybe they limit on how many free copies are given away.
