Dolly Dagger... excellent, we almost have the entire Experience in Rock Band...

Now if only more people would download Jimi tracks to jam on XBL...

I have them all too and have never actually played online, it seems weird somehow considering it's such a social people in your living room kind of game.

It's nice that Harmonix is still supporting Rock Band, even though the music rhythm genre was almost killed by the oversaturation of Guitar Hero games.

In before "this week sucks!"

Actually, if anyone says this, I will find where they live and I will murder them so good.* For real.

@OMAOILRIAN
There will never be zepplin, not as long as page is alive, at least. He won't loan them, or anybody else, for that matter, the masters. As for floyd, they probably just want too much money. Or just won't let them do it period. I assure you they would LOVE to have both of those. And then, of course, you have the beatles problem. After, mistakenly, giving them their own game, even semi-big band ever thinks THEY deserve their own game. Harmonix really shot themselves in the foot with that one.

@mietha

I live in hope that at some point minds will change. It's the stupidest thing ever, it's a chance to reach an audience that may have, so far, gone without hearing their music outside a Martin Scorsese film.

I know Plant is adamant but in the case of Floyd I suspect it would just be too complicated both legally and ego-wise getting Waters and Gilmore together long enough to sign the contracts and that's assuming they're interested enough.

I disagree about the Beatles, I'd say that you're talking more about Green Day, that's was a mistake.

The Beatles release got a lot of mainstream attention, I think on the whole it did well.

The other problem is that the genre peaked way too soon, Harmonix is smart to stick with it, owning a market is a good thing even if it's a small one.

About time, they've been sitting on Electric Ladyland for almost two years now... kind of annoyed they're releasing it piecemeal, but it's better than nothing.

The game is called "ROCK" Band, not ... hm? What was that?

Jimi Hendrix?

Oh. Well then, let's just forget I said the most obvious and stupidly repeated, pointless criticism of any DLC, ok?

I only play the drums and have found his stuff really hard to get right, the change-ups are insane, Jimi smoked weed I think he did speed.

@salvage I'm a percussion major. Their are and have been a lot of drummers who don't know how to play. Mitch was IMO the first great rock drummer.

I'm starting to think that the Rock Band folks can only release tracks from Artists they have already signed. All the releases over the past few months have been from artists who already have songs featured in the game. They should just come out and say if that's the case so I'm not keeping my hopes up for some tracks from Chevelle or 311.
