Weekly Webcomic Wrapup is doing its homework

So they're making another Pokemon game, and it's, uhm, a little different. We're all for zany crossovers, mind you, but giving Oda Nobunaga his own Jigglypuff feels weird even for us, and we're into some weird stuff. It's not that we don't think strategy games have a place in the Pokemon universe, it's just that Nobunaga was a ruthless warlord who lived a life of bloodshed and conquest.

For instance! After behaving so shamefully at his father's funeral that his mentor committed seppukku (seriously), Nobunaga and his brother Nobumitsu conspired and eventually succeeded in murdering their uncle Oda Nobutomo, after which they lived in his house for 10 years. Sounds like Pokemon to us!

(Look, we know there's only 4 comics this week, but it's the holiday season, and you guys have no idea how many webcomics forgot to be about video games.)

I've never watched or played any Star Wars stuff so even for an uninformed person like me of the series, I still found it pretty funny.

I like comics that don't have inside jokes.

It's not even a joke, though. It's a pun, I guess, but it's not really all that clever. look, what if I made a comic called Sonic Generation X, and it was about Sonic switching places with a yuppy New Yorker?

I think this is the first time I've ever openly laughed at Nerf NOW without feeling guilty and ashamed about it later.

The Old Republican was probably the lamest thing I've seen all week.

Literally Wrost Week Ever

Yet another week with no strips I can vote for. I hate to be negative on the internet, but where did the funny comics go?!

I haven't looked at the comics yet...but this post is hilarious.

You guys really need to drop this article or start involving non-game related web comics. Toss in some Hark a Vagrant!, Three Word Phrase, or some Overcompensating.
