it's quite laggy on Android, and I'm rocking a Samsung Galaxy S. Hopefully a patch will fix it. Other than, I'm loving it.

At first I thought this was a mobile version of pOnd... Then I read the article, and I was sad.

@Cirrus

The downloads a virus or the websites virus ridden? I've downloaded the game and have had no issues...

Uhh, wow. Just shows that you shouldn't be running IE. Both Chrome and Firefox come up with no virus pop-ups from MSE, IE on the other hand shows both a "TrojanDownloader:Java/Comesis.A" and "Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.YN"... appears to be trying to open a PDF as well.

There is no download, p0nd is a flash game. It's on Kongregate if you want to play it without going to the linked to, virus infested site.

Either the player was absolutely amazing, or the gameplay's pretty mindless. And the whole thing looks dead. Even NES shooters had animated player character and obstacles. Ooh, you can rotate a static sprite! on dual-core hardware with a dedicated GPU and 1gig+ RAM! WHOO

I've got the international version, which Google labels a "Vodafone Galaxy S2 i9100". Maybe yours it the T-mobile version or something? I know some of the US carrier-specific versions had different hardware.

Great little game! I find the more evasion-focused gameplay to be pretty interesting. It's not just another shmup. Runs fine on my Android HTC T-Mobile G2. Occasionally gets a little rough on the framerate, but nothing unplayable. Definitely worth checking out!
