GameStop's got B2G1, savings on Rage, Skyrim Collector's Edition, more

It's probably a little late to start your holiday shopping, but GameStop is there for you if you're late to the consumer party. Starting today, the retailer is offering a buy two, get one free special on all pre-owned products. That includes both hardware and software, so there's plenty to choose from. The sale runs through December 28. By the way, if you start your Christmas shopping after Christmas, you're really doing it wrong.

GameStop is also offering an in-store sale on the Skyrim Collector's Edition, knocking the usual $150 price down to a (slightly?) more palatable $100. Finally, you can snag Rage for $30, though we'd be remiss in our duties if we didn't mention it's currently available for just under $20 on Amazon.

Not really. At least, not for me. I'm very happy I bought the PC Collector's Ed on day 1. It's one of the more solid editions imo. In fact, I recently bought the 360 Collector's Ed from Newegg for $95 + free shipping (which is still at this price on all platforms).

Naysayers may trash Skyrim, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Deus ex is cheaper than that in store, i wouldn't take BF3 if it was free buddy [considering that you need an online pass + sucky community]

lol smart move. Idk about Deus ex, it's 27 on Gamestop used, but i know i can sell it on ebay for above 30. And I can trade in BF3 for 33.75 on Amazon. So I dont know, make an offer I guess :)

I tried playing Deus Ex and it's boring as hell to me. I played the hell out of BF3 and it's starting to get on my nerves somewhat. I'm tired of the super big maps and the vehicles. I just like infantry. Im gonna get MW3. Maybe if the maps were designed for console like Bad Company 2, my favorite shooter, it wouldve been kept.

Hmm I should buy Vanquish and Resonance of Fate, get MW3 free, then go to another gamestop, return those 2 games, then buy 2 more preowned and get Skyrim for free, then repeat for 2k12.

They've got a new policy that only allows you to return either all three games or simply exchange one of the games for another but there is no separate refund for each game......unless you find someone who doesn't care/know what they're doing...

The 26th of December is actually one of the biggest shopping days in the UK (It's like our Black Friday).

I was going to say that you're doing it right if you buy after Christmas cuz prices are usually super low as companies try to unload inventory before the year ends. We always buy wrapping paper, decorations, etc. after Christmas and then use them next year.

I got Rage for $30 last week at Gamestop. I wonder if it's a permanent price drop.

Rage for 30$? No thanks, the game it's on sale on Steam for 15, It's on 19$ on Amazon if you want the PS3 or the 360 version. The Anarchy Edition for PC it's on 20 on Newegg.

MW3 gonna be 39.99 sunday at bestbuy :) Revelations will be 29.99

Forgive me. It will either be a deal of the day on the website, or it's going to be on sale for that week.

Speaking of which, I just discovered that Gamefly has a store to buy new/used games (I'm slow, ok? I never actually visited their site before.) I think you need to be signed up for them but I don't think you need a subscription to use the store. The prices are pretty good, too, sometimes better than what I found at Amazon or GameStop (but well...that last one is a given, really.)

@Churrotastic Eh it's not surprising they're cheaper since a lot of those games are played buy hundreds of people before they're sold as used where as normally it's only second hand. It's like the difference of buying someone's daily driver and buying an old rental car.
