Humble Indie Bundle 4 earns $2 million
22
It's true: Humble Indie Bundle 4 is the most appealing one yet. Bundle 4 added five earlier games (and their soundtracks) this week and has now earned more than $2 million.
It's becoming less and less surprising to report these bundles are earning millions of dollars. Back in October, the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle earned $1 million, and Humble Indie Bundle 3 surpassed $2 million in the final hours of its existence. The quality of the games being offered is a big draw, but it's clear that the bundle creators haven't lost sight of their inclusive approach to customers.

Can honestly say I spent the most on this bundle.
Super Meat Boy and cavestory+ were huge draws, and at the time I needed some good windowed games to play.
jamestown was pretty good, Bit.runner sucks, and not a fan of shank. Gratuitous Space Battles is not my cup of tea, but it is interesting. Didnt try nightsky HD yet.

@Faenix Bit Trip Runner sucked? what madness is this but I can understand some games can't appeal to everyone. I like the music of this game but as for the gameplay well its cool unless you screw up and start all over again which can be irritating to some people.

I think Jamestown has converted me to shmups. I know it isn't the most intense "bullet hell" game but I'm really digging the challenge.
Does anyone know of any other good shmups on Steam ?

Good on them, they deserve it.

Bought it for 25 bucks. I started playing Super Meat Boy and just forgot about the rest of the pack completely. BUY THIS.

This pack has way too much value to be left alone. It wasn't until reading this story that I realized Bit.Trip.Runner was included!
I feel a little guilty because all I want are VVVVVV, Bit.Trip, and Cave Story and that makes me want to only pay between $15-20. I'll make my mind up later, but all the bonuses that come with this package are well worth more than $20.
I am glad they did the pay more than the average bonus, but I am also disappointed that the average is so low. Next time I think a $5 minimum is more appropriate. I don't like thinking about the jerks that pay $1 or less.

I love these, though I hate to see how many POS people there are abusing them. I honestly feel bad that paying 5 bucks isnt enough (I pay what I can), but people who scam them with a penny are real pieces of work.

@DethLocke Agreed on everything. Those people need to be taken out back. I also payed what I could ($6), what with the time of year. Normally average about $20 per bundle, but I wish I could spend more.

Bought this bundle for the first time and I'll probably buy every one from now on. Great games for a great cause and it's all hassle free...they're on to something.

And no thanks to those of you who spent exactly ONE PENNY on these games. Especially just to sell the keys. Dicks.

I've bought every Bundle and I will buy every Bundle they release. This one had a bunch of games I already own, but I don't care. It's the best deal on the internet.
I usually drop a twenty on them, but I'm short of funds this time around. Hope they don't mind me only dropping 6 bucks.
Super Meat Boy is fantastic and it worth the price of admission alone, plus you get the soundtrack which is equally as awesome! Buy this!

Things like this make me happy. As a gamer and a person. I wonder how much of it is going to charity.

@Rhamsey Hopefully 100%. Or maybe 95% charity, 5% devs (They deserve a bit of coin for their efforts).
