Congrats Ludwig! With you being one of my favorite Joystiq editors, I'm excited for where things go from here.

I really don't care who writes but can you please just tell me you'll cut back on the skyrim posts. I realize that the game takes over the lives of everyone that plays it but that shouldn't be the case for everyone that visits this site.

Almost 5 years later, I still have no clue who chose to use a Q in Joystiq?

Um, is that a GlamourShots pic of Darth Clark, from Game Infarcer?

Congratulations to everyone on their promotions. I've been reading Joystiq for over four years and I see no reason to stop.

Uhhhhh... more Jordan Mallory, less McElroy?

Maybe I'll just get my news from twitter or something. I feel bad for Ludwig.

@Acosta02

If only we can teach Jordan to throw in multiple typos and a billion unnecessary commas into his writing, it'll be like Justin never left.

I do regret Griffin leaving. That kid was funny and knew how to write. Still, if you had to keep one of the old guys around, Ludwig is definitely the number 1 choice.

@Breakdown

Hahaha, from that perspective, Jordan's a quick study.

Really? I've only read a few articles from him, but I thought they were decent so far. Plus he raps!

At first I was sad that Justin, Griffin and Chris left but then I found out that Luddy would be taking over Chris' duties and I immediately felt better. I think joystiq will be alright.

I'm a relatively new reader to the site (May of 2010), but I echo every sentiment uttered about Joystiq and its presence in the industry and impact on its readers. The iPhone app keeps me sane throughout my day, and reading comments/commenting and being a part of this community is a highlight of my day. Chris's dedication and vision showed through in everyone's work. I'll miss Griffin's unnecessary wordiness in his posts. I'm going to miss Justin's uncanny ability to make me piss my pants laughing. I never followed IGN or had seen much of Arthur's work, but he is extremely talented and is going to do great things.

That being said, I'm incredibly excited for the Stiq's future. I feel like everyone is deserving of their new positions. Post-futurestiq looks to continue the tradition of what keeps us all coming back to this humble little blog-shanty. Congrats to Luddy and crew and all the best wishes for the future. I still refuse to aggregate industry news from anywhere else!

P.S...I'm not feeling all the unnecessary hate on Jordan and Jess. Shout out to the both of you and keep up the good work!

@Ron Burgundy yeah man, I really love the new members too. I don't get all the complaints about them, especially stuff about spamming memes or whatever, haven't noticed that all. They're great!

As sad as I am about 3 of my 4 favorite 'Stiqers leaving, 1 out of the 4 is still here, and running the site too. I think I'll stay for a bit...

I was gonna send my CV and lend a helping hand, but now I'm thinking I should send a bottle of Moscato.

According to all of Luddy's social network photos, he's a vampire. He doesn't age.

Congrats, Luddy. (He was always my favorite :P) I'm excited this journey has brought you all the way to our shores to hand deliver magnificent puns from atop your new throne. I'll keep reading every day, just as I've done for the past 6 years. Please make one more old podcast before everyone is out the door. There's not a more fitting exit.

One era ends and a new one begins.

Chris, Justin, and Griffin will be greatly missed but hopefully this leads into bigger and better things for Joystiq.

Ludwig, they could not have picked anyone better to take the position over from Chris. Good luck sir!
