Now with less awkward Geddy Lee narration!

It's also worth noting for this one that if you buy the pack, you also get the ability to play the entire 20-minute song as one part and you get the pro guitar/bass upgrades for free.

Protip: If you purchase the full pack you get the three split tracks as well as the entire 20-minute suite as one whole song plus pro guitar expansions for all 4 tracks at no extra cost (although I believe the Wii doesn't get the unbroken version).

Never played any of the music games, but I can certainly vouch for the epicness of this song.

The world needs more sci-fi rock.

They're split into different tracks? Aww, that takes the fun out of playing it.

I wonder what kind of technology people will use to play this album in 2112.

If the song is any indication, then I'd say some sort of guitar-shaped object xD

None if the Solar Federation has its way. It doesn't fit the plan.

@okayfrog Hundreds of dollars? The game is $20, the pack is $5.49. The Mustang Pro Guitar is down to $55 on Amazon, and any regular guitar can't be hard to find nowadays for a few bucks.

@funkydunkleman Meanwhile, the $150 drum kit is a bastard to get. And that's just for the drums that tend to stop functioning after prolonged use; not the good ones.

3 is better than 7, but I wish they'd put it all together. From what I hear, though, if it's the same ones used for WOR, and no reason to think they're not, the first two parts are studio masters, so that wouldn't be possible.

@Tiradyn From http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226733

Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players have the option to purchase the single Rush “2112” pack, which features all three of the above tracks, as well as one, 20-minute marathon medley of all seven parts of the suite, exclusively available in this special pack. Additionally, as a bonus, players will receive Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades for all three packages, as well as a Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrade for the medley for free!

"Rock Band will add Rush's legendary "2112" to the Wii and Xbox 360 music store next week, with the PS3 receiving the anthem in 2012 (because the PSN doesn't update during the holidays)."

...but next week IS 2012!

Wow, the bonuses for the whole pack are damn impressive. I'm not a huge fan of Rush when it comes to just listening to their stuff, but their songs are so much fun to play in the game. I think I'm sold.

You've got the dates a little messed up, it's heading to the Wii and PS3 next week, with the 360 receiving it earlier on the 31st. Actually the PSN DOES update during the holidays (it did last week and this week with a bunch of games), just doesn't seem to be getting Rock Band tracks for some reason.
