"Getting the Z0MB1ES!!1 theme song stuck in your head comes at no extra cost."

Good, because I'd be in debt if it did. Just got a Windows Phone too.

@INTRO
We just got the iPhone here in ND (6 to 8 months ago) and it is looking less and less appealing to me. Not that it isn't to shabby of a product, but now we have the Apple Snobs running around, foaming at the mouth, playing grab-ass with each other. Yet, all of these snobs I work with or run into don't have any clue what Jailbreaking is. Weird.

@ItsameMatt03 I know, since Symbian is such a competitor to iOS and Android when it comes to mobile gaming, right? Watch out for this guy, folks; he's clearly a genius.

And you sir are obviously are not a genius, or you'd know by now that all Xbox Indie games are XNA-based. And like Xbox, Windows Phone also runs XNA natively. Far easier for a small, indie developer already with games on XNA, to make the necessary changes to get the phone to run on Windows Phone, than to have to completely reprogram and recompile the game to get it to run on something else . . . say iOS, or Android, et al.

Also were you a genius, you'd realize that ItsameMatt03 was using something called, SARCASM (look it up) when he made the Symbian support statement. But since it obviously does not take genius level intellect to figure any of the above out, and you could not figure out either, what does that state about you exactly?

@Tachyonic Cargo For as much as you wrote about sarcasm, I find it ironic that you didn't recognize its presence in my post. Keep trying though. You'll sound smart eventually ;)

@ItsameMatt03 Yeah, how foolish of me to be surprised that a mobile game isn't being released on the most popular mobile platform (iOS). Silly me.

@DDustiNN Ummm, since when has iOS ever been the most popular mobile platform? Last I saw Android was blowing them out of the water. Silly me.

Most popular? Since when? Apple products have always been a minority. (besides the mp3 players)

I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!1 is probably one of the most surprising indie games I have on my 360. If it was packaged with multiplayer and a tad bit longer it would be something really bad ass.

Unfortunately I can't snag this because I have no Windows Phone 7.

Xbox Indie Games and WP7 use the identical XNA platform for games, so a simple game like this may run in both places with almost zero effort by the developer. I'm suprised they didn't relase it earlier.

With all the quality games like Breath of Death, Soul Caster, Avatar Legends, Weapon of Choice, and the Arkedo series on Xbox LIVE Indie Games, I'm always shocked that more do not make the crossover from Xbox to Windows Phone. I'd buy them again, if they did.

@Raffi256 keep in mind that this isn't a straight port. He also added two new games (Time Viking and Endless Zombies) plus Xbox LIVE achievements, the ability to pull pics from your contacts and add those as the zombies and more.

Also, this had to go through Microsoft's certification process, so the development of this game is more akin to a XBLA release instead of an XBIG release. (this is probably why more indie developers haves made the move)

While I agree that ddustin is an idiot, iOS has the most games and highest quality of games. But apparebtly he didnt grasp the concept that rhis game was created with xna which only runs on wp7 Also, the reason android is "blowing iOS out of the water" is simply because there are multiple different companies making android based tech while only apple makes ios devices. I'd venture to guess that of you limited the numbers more specifically the difference wouldn't be as large. For example comparing the iPhone line to the Samsung galaxy s line and I bet there are more iPhones.

@Xero Theory
Apple vs. Android is an argument that will lead to no end, as long as there's competition, in my opinion. I'd say Apple has a more proper footing, after a few years head start, led by a man that moved the whole mobile industry, over the 'droid. Android has a hard time with software fragmentation, due to rapid change in hardware, but the app library will even out in due time. Microsoft has a tough job ahead to catch up, and they made a damn good move with XNA support.

@Xero Theory

If Apple licensed their iOS software to other companies the way Microsoft and Google do, then maybe they could compete better.

It's like how Nintendo holds their hardware close to their chest and is the only manufacturer to make Nintendo-brand game systems.

Come to think of it, Nintendo, MS, and Sony should all license their game system manufacturing to different companies, then the market will truly be open. No more of this "closed garden" crap.
