Buy it people!

I have Pinball FX2 on my 360 and Zen Pinball on the iPhone and I just can't get enough of them!

This should be a worthwhile purchase - but I really hope Nintendo and Zen Studios produce some exclusive Nintendo themed tables. The "stardard" Zen Pinball tables are ok, but the Marvel Themed tables on Xbox 360 are just awesome - but instead of just porting those over, give us something fresh!

Imagine, $4 DLC pack consisting of a Zelda table (themed after Skyward Sword), Mario table (themed after original NES Super Mario Bros), Pikmin table (to gear us up for Pikmin 3!) and Star Fox table (complete with messages from Peppy, Slippy and Falco, of course... "DO A BARREL ROLL")

@Axcalibur

That would be a brilliant move and it would be gobbled up by everyone, raking in the profits!

Soooooo... it probably won't happen.

Over at NintendoLife one of the makers of the game came on as someone was being jerky trying to do a call out on them over DLC because the game only has 4 tables (well it launched with 4 on PS3 too...durrr.) Saying they were spacing it out to rip people off. The thing is just 4 tables have been converted so far and more coming later. Anyway in the post he said they were looking at $2/each for DLC tables for the 3DS eShop package.

Can't hardly argue over $2 for a full pinball table.

I hope the 3D works well in this. I'm totally down for some balls in my face!

Funny, I was just thinking about this, kinda. I remember someone turning their HDTV into a pinball machine by laying it down on the table, etc. etc. and I was thinking how great the 3DS 3D would be in that situation because almost everything pops-in rather than out. (Barring the current technological impossibility due to the viewing angle)

Provided they don't screw this up it'll do, and I'm excited for another day 1 eshop purchase.

I bought this on the 3DS shop in the UK in December. It's really quite good actually.

Sweet! I have the PS3 version and it's awesome. This'll make a nice edition to my 3DS library, once I scrape together the money for a purchase.

I was playing the 360 version using my LG's 2D to 3D conversion (which this TV does surprisingly great job with) and was thinking how this should be a standard option on both PS3 and 360. The table's depth looks so much better, and you have a better sense of where the ball is way back there. Very good move to put it on 3DS...

Man, 3D pinball seems like such a good idea. Can't wait to try this out.
