Aww man it would have been cool if they included the first Darkness game. I gave my copy to a friend years ago (who subsequently sold it without my permission...bastard).

@NaeemTHM that would be very nice coming with a free copy with Darkness and that sucks about your friend selling it without permission i'm guessing you didn't let him borrow any more games after that :P

@NaeemTHM It's about $5 at Gamestop. I bought mine new for $10 last year at Best Buy. Shouldn't be too hard to find if you really want it.

So how come boobies on the site are NSFW, but bloody tentacles ripping a guy apart are cool?

He doesn't appear to be getting ripped apart in the picture. Besides that, gratuitous nudity is NSFW, cartoon people being cut in half? Noone cares.

And, like usual you will be able to walk into your local retailer and buy the so-called Limited Edition a week after the release date. They do go quicker then so-called Collectors Editions though. Those you can find months later, collecting dust on the floor of your local GameStop or BestBuy for the low price of $50. All this is just an illusion of perceived value. And they charge a premium price for it.

@HaVoK308
I preordered BioShock 2's collectors edition and it was $100, and they still ended up charging for stuff that was already on the disc.
At least I was able to get one of the giant Gamestop posters cause they were getting rid of them.

@treppenlift Did a spambot just use the actual game from the article to post a comment? The spam-bots, they evolve!

I saw a playthrough of The Darkness and while it looks cool in concept, I just couldn't stand the main character.
