1.) If a franchise is old and beloved, "It's about the game being fun".
2.) If a new property enters the foray, only then do you rip it for quality.

Well, with Uncharted holding the trophy for best looking game this gen (on consoles) I don't think Twisted Metal has much to prove in that department :/ They just need to focus on making it:
1) Fun
2) Nostalgic
3) Addictive
4) Different from every other game
Now so far it already holds 2 and 4 titles, being that it is nostaligic because it reminds me of my youth and it is by far more interesting then half the repetitive crap being poured on to us from the likes of Activision. If graphics are the only thing worth looking forward to anymore, I might as well give up gaming, I think most of us here would agree that originality and fun trumps graphics. No point a game looking spectacular if it is as bland, nonsensical and short as Crysis was ¬_¬

@Lalalala I wouldn't say that at all! Look at the sleeper hit success of the new Mortal Kombat game. Nostalgia and classic arcade gameplay can go along way in todays market.

I wonder if I'll be able to play Black on the vita at some point? Not sure I'd ever feel the need to play this on console since i have the superior PS3 version, but I'd play it portably.
