The apps were delayed because Elite was crippled, due to the insane traffic the service was getting (read as: people caring).

Oh, yeah. "Shoot to kill." Clever. I don't like COD either, never used the service, but let's do a little math. Millions use Elite. That's a little bit more than "nobody," is it?

It's hard, if not impossible, to get ready a product when you don't know how many initial users will utilize the service, considering how many people play COD.

Have you guys been monitoring the Elite Premium debacle? Many people (including myself) have been really frustrated that we paid for a service and over two months into it we still haven't gotten everything they advertised.

This should surprise NO ONE.
And to all these people who think they are essentially going to get discounted DLC for being in elite, be prepared for things being delayed and pushed back to where you'll basically be paying the same price as everyone else.
Elite obviously offers more than that, though it doesn't seem completely implemented based on what you say. but if you're doing it for the DLC discount, then you're drinking the kool-aid.
