You can't just have zombies show up for no reason, obviously. In Lollipop Chainsaw, the malevolent force behind the zombie invasion is ... Swan, a "goth geek bastard" with a goofy laugh and much nicer clothes than any goths we knew.
Oh my goth! It's Lollipop Chainsaw's villain, Swan

I think it looks great. It's the equivalant to Army of Darkness for video games!

Remember folks. Zombies are people to. Just because the prefer human flesh, doesn't make them any less of a person. So just put out your arms and ask them to take a bite! I did!
They sayed I tasted like rancid tofurkey that's been marinated in formaldehyde. Just like momma use to make! ;D

people jump all over this type of crap just because its the most random stuff thrown into a videogame. Doesn't make it any good. Of course it's not even out yet, so maybe it has what it takes.
I have a great idea for a game: ninjas with cheese for swords, they have to fight enemy ticks who have mind reading powers. Cool and edgy right?

Forgive me for the somewhat severe generalization. But while I *might* be inclined to side with your thought that this is goofy for the sake of being so, I can't help appreciating someone, anyone deviating from the status quo. Though I'll gladly play damn near anything, I think we have enough recurring elements in the industry that we can be treated to something delightfully deviant now and then. If it can fall outside the norm and stand on its own as a good game, I'm all for it.

@bshido Ehh it's not that random if you look at Suda 51's previous titles. They always make these wacky kind of games so this fits right inline. Regardless as darkinclown said too many games are copy paste or trying to be someone else so this seems like a nice treat... LIKE A LOLIPOP! (I love bad jokes :D)

So JC is saying goths don't dress well?
Yet more joystiq racism.
[I say yet more, I haven't seen any other examples, and I know this isn't racism, I'm just trying to be outraged]

Great, now Goths everywhere are gonna be summoning zombies. ..wait..no.. They'll just continue to cake eye makeup, support the social boil that is Hot Topic, and whine while knowing no solutions.

@TimeDoesNotExist You haven't been to a Hot Topic in the last 5 years, have you? That place is more pop, rap and hipster than goth nowadays. It used to be the shit, but now it's just shit.

I thought there wasn't going to be any blood, just all rainbows and unicorns.
But anyhow, should be fun, if Shadows of the Damned was any indication.

I'm all for this game, but that's either some really unintentionally bad writing for Swan, or some intentionally bad writing for him with a really bad voice actor
