Got my paws on one yesterday at CES! (be jealous) Even though the buttons and sticks were smaller than I expected, they worked well playing Resistance.

After switching the right stick to inverted-look (because apparently I'm the only one who plays that way anymore), I had no problem lining up shots, and dropping Chimera! Really convinced me that true console games can be achieved on a portable; and it's not the visuals, it's that glorious 2nd stick.

so it feels as good as the trailer looked on youtube (e.g. sticks are not floating like the original nub on the PSP) ?

I am almost there to press the "buy" button for a wireless vita + resistance + 16 gb card. The only thing holding me back is knowing full well that this is a crazy amount of money for something I will probably not have a legitimate constant use for unless I stop playing ps3 games temporarily.

Yes, the sticks do feel pretty good. They actual tilt around, like small versions of the PS3 sticks; they are not sliding nubs.

Resistance is a "launch window" title, so it won't be there Day 1. If that is the game you are focusing on, ya might as well just wait until it releases. I know I'm looking forward to Uncharted, and some of the other launch titles, so I have a WiFI unit preordered on Amazon!
