Everyone at Bungie thinks SOPA "sucks," according to a new post on its News board. Bungie, formerly of the Halo franchise, joins a growing list of developers and companies opposing SOPA, and urges its audience to take action against the bill.
"Bungie is opposed to any legislation that curtails free speech, stifles innovation, and prevents the open sharing of information on the Internet," Bungie's position reads. "SOPA fits that bill. If it passes, it will hurt our community, the gaming community at large, and it could very well cripple the kind of games we love to create and play.
"Just like online piracy, that would be downright criminal."

Maybe they're trying to have us pay all our attention to making sure SOPA is passed, and then while we're trying so hard to get that to pass they'll sneak PIPA by without anyone knowing?
Or something, I unno.

Have you ever seen The Sopranos on normal cable?

no, but each successive comment that makes an attempt at elaborating makes it seem like you care too much.

I'm assuming all the americans commenting stuff like: "It's good that more companies are speaking out against SOPA" have written their congressmen and stuff?
Leaning back in front of your computer saying "good on you" won't stop SOPA, take action!

What's great about companies like Bungie protesting is that their actual bottom line is effected by piracy. Yet they recognize the alternative outlined by policy makers to be absurd.
