Forget about all that Facebook nonsense. SSX is trying to redefine the way you use the word "tagging" between friends with its geotagging feature, which allows you to set hard-to-reach points as challenges for other folks. That's way better than a photo gallery feature if you ask us.

thing is... 1080 was great because it was realistic compared to other offerings at the time (Coolboarders). You couldn't do 8 backflips with no feet while flying with a wingsuit through flaming rings...
If you liked 1080, try Stoked: Big Air Edition for 360. Closest thing to realistic snowboarding that is available.
SSX is more in the Coolboarders vein... like saints row on a hill. Some people dig it, but 1080 it is not. :(

But yeah SSX id call the NFS of snowboarding. It's arcadey and a bit over the top. Not trying to be realistic.
