Sweet! I just sent this in :)
Amazing that the PSP still breathes life... In the form of JRPGs!
I'm glad Joystiq is still pretty quick with the news.

The Atlus webpage has pre-order links for Amazon and Gamestop with a price of $29.99.

It's nice to see Joystiq keeping a close eye on the news

Awesome! Now bring over that Princess Crown port and we can put this whole thing behind us.

Internet-veteran anime fans will know why I cannot look at Satoshi Urushihara's art with a straight face anymore.

Especially attached to a game called "Growlanser".

Well, it's not as if he had been a prude in his Plastic Little and Legend of Lemnear days. :)

Anyway, I'll probably be getting this. I have the PS2 domestic releases of 2, 3, and 5, after all.

I wish Atlus would localize the Langrisser series. The only one we got in the US was the first one, released here as Warsong. There a 4 more games we haven't seen! I think it would sell to the usual Atlus crowd.

"Because of a combination of licensing restrictions and the scope of the game's script, only the 'many anime cutscenes' will be voiced."

Does that mean no Japanese voices, even? Boo.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still buying it.

@Alexisonfire:
Hrm... Shining Force in real time? It's a bit of a RPG-RTS fusion, unless someone else can sum it up better.

@GiantGamer Question is, if I buy this for PSP, via PSN Store, will that digital copy run on VITA? I was under the impression that PSP Digital Games would run on VITA...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Vita

"The device is fully backwards-compatible with PlayStation Portable games digitally ... The Vita's dual analog sticks will be supported on selected PSP games."

So, in theory, those silly VITA owners, myself included, will have plenty of games to enjoy, both enhanced PSP games and native VITA games :)

Looks good, but I just can't enjoy a game on handhelds anymore. My eyes are decent, but on those small screens its hard to enjoy anything. Ah well...

@Khalus If you have PSP 2000 I believe you can hook it up to an HDTV and play PSP games on that.

I'm so excited! Growlanser Generations were 2 of the best SRPGs I've ever played aside from Shining Force 1-3. I just hope it sells well enough that they bring over Growlanser I for PSP, too.
