@(Unverified) I believe it was the trailer for the fifth .... strange how they are almost numerically caught up with the games, a few more years and we will be on something like the 14th movie but only the 7th game (that isn't a shitty rail shooter).

Maybe its same actress, different character? I mean hey, I didn't remember who she played until I thought "Oh yeah, she's the last normal person to die in the first movie!".

I wish they would just skip all the nuances and kill everyone in first 10 minutes of the film then spend the next 80 minutes bringing them all back to life.

I've seen the first 3. I liked the first one. The 2nd was meh and the 3rd was just so awful I stooped caring about the movies. This shouldn't even be called Resident Evil anymore.

Movie version is Action
RE games 1 - 3 were Survival Horror
RE games 4 - 6 are Action

No game movies are exactly the same as their base. Capcom & Sony Pictures keep the franchise alive btw.

@The Tim it's everyone else...although I will say that even though I don't go to the theater to watch em (cept the first) I do rent em when they're on DVD. Even though I know they're terrible, as long as they make em, I'll keep watching em.

Wow, this is the first time the trailer didn't make me think, "I guess I'll watch it, even though I know it'll be terrible." Nope, no chance I'm seeing this without someone to laugh at it with me or someone that might put out if I watch it with her.

The intro to the RE2 trailer was about a skincare product. But with Sony on line, they can do something more realistic.

What's with the whole White House thing?
IT'S THE CENTER OF THE WORLD AND A SYMBOL OF FREEDOM FROM... Ah hell, who knows?

Why is Alice wearing an Umbrella uniform? She WAS a security operative for Umbrella, maybe beating the last few games gave her access to the alternate costumes locker.

Why is Ada suddenly involved? To make RE fans say "OH SHIT ADA WONG IN ORIGINAL COSTUME!" in hopes they see the movie.

Why is Ada wearing a ridiculously bad knock off costume? It's a red low cut dress with a side cut skirt allowing access to a "tacti-cool" drop leg holster... it's not a bad knock off, it was always a bad costume.

Why is Alice seen living in a suburb with a little girl, in regular clothes?
Probably backstory.

Why is the other girl from RE1 back in what looks like a nonflashback?
Cloned? Who's to say what is and isn't flashback.

Why the hell is it set to Tron music? Because nothing they've come up with themselves over the last 10 years has been any good.

Why the hell DO THESE MOVIES EXIST UNDER THE RESIDENT EVIL NAME?! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Yes that was TRON music. Movie trailers use music from other movies quite often. It's called licensing.

It might actually be good, there was some cool monster in the trailer.

I've played all the RE games and love the story lines. The movie follows the book series more so then the game's storyline so watch it more like an alternate universe then the main one.
