No Wii U tag or mention? I am disappoint. It's going to be a launch title, you know.

I'm very curios as to how Famine will look when they make his game.

@Electrium So they replace Conquest and Famine with Strife and Fury? That's a little odd. (For those confused that I didn't say Pestilence, he is only a horseman in popular culture but not one of the originals. The traditionals from the book of revelations are Conquest, War, Famine and Death.)

Fury is a girl and Strife is a cowboy looking dude.

Neil Gaiman has led me to believe Death is a perky goth girl.

I recall reading that Neil did the horsemen sections and Terry was responsible for Adam and the Them.

Don't get me wrong, this game looks cool and all, and I really enjoyed the first game, but I just can't get over that Death looks like a glorified Casey Jones. I wish they would have done Death's design a little different, but oh well.

The one thing that bothers me about the quotes is the idea that Death doesn't wait for anything. One of the cornerstones of Death is that he waits - doesn't do anything before it's time, but when he does, it's absolute. You can say he's "cold and calculating", but without that character aspect, and based on the gameplay shown, he still seems like a brute.
Would have seemed more appropriate to me for him to have a more batman-esqe personality to be properly cold and calculating - just without the hiding. :)

Indeed, looking at the Biblical Horsemen (not the Darksiders lore) I'd see them as the following:
War - direct, open conflict
Death - covert, black-ops, assasination
Conquest - politics, back-room deals
Famine - bio-chemical warfare
Of course, that's all a bit harder to put in a fast-paced action game ;)

i loved the first game, and want to support these Vigil guys, but i seriously hope that the 360 version isn't plagued by the shitty screen tearing present in the first. it's a shame when you look forward to (and even pre-order) a game for your preferred console, only to realize that that version is the worst. in that way, i truly feel for the early owners of Bayonetta on the PS3.

The first game I was SO excited when I played the up through the first dungeon... then the second one was still pretty cool... after that I felt they were repetitive and bland. I have high hopes for this one though again. The first wasn't a bad game...but I definately lost interest in it after awhile. I want to go back and finish it at some point.
