Rayman Origins comes to 3DS in North America March 20

You'll be able to take a little happiness (and a lot of frustration) with you wherever you go starting March 20, when Ubisoft releases the 3DS version of the delightful Rayman Origins in North America. The European version will arrive on March 16.

If you would prefer to explore Rayman's world with a slightly bigger, but still handheld, screen, Rayman Origins will be among the games available alongside the PlayStation Vita's First Edition bundle on Feb. 15.

I have it for the PS3, but it would be awesome to play in 3D

would it, I mean, the entire game is 2d art assets. I'm not sure what would change there.

The 2D games I have played in 3D look amazing. I look forward more to those than the fully 3D games. i can't imagine how gorgeous this will look in 3D.

But why? That sort of effect never really seems to work in live action flicks, it feels too tacked on. I can't help but feel it would be here as well.

You, personally, need to play a 2D game in stereoscopic 3D. That's all that needs to be said.

This looks like a lot of fun. Just got a 3DS and I'm looking for games to build my library; I may give this one a try.

I toyed with the idea of getting a portable version of this, but when Toys R Us had it for $20, I just got it on 360. Fabulous game.

I have this one on the PS3, but I just might have to pick up the 3DS version as well. I'll play the demo first, though!! :D

I came here just to say that Toys R Us has it for $19.99. That's a shame, it seems the game just is not selling.

I can't make up my mind about this. I loved this game so much on my PS3 that part of me does kinda want to pick this up as a handheld version. Really good 3D effects would sweeten the pot even further. However, if it's just a solidly 2d version of the game sans HD graphics, then I'll probably pass. Also, as far as I've heard, it's exactly the same game. No new levels or anything like that...

I love this game, I have it on 360 with Amazon exclusive art book. I think i may wait for it drop in price to get it for 3DS though, all of the other versions did fairly quickly.

Other places are saying that the NA release date is February 20. Who's telling the truth?

You want frustration? Try the next-to-last boss fight in Sonic Generations. Until then I had never actually THROWN my controller, but that did it. That absurd, glitchy fight did it.

Having to replay almost the entire game just to unlock one glitched achievement isn't very appetizing either.

Yahtzee approved........the game, not the 3DS.....

I love this game to death and would love to take it with me on the go!

I'm probably the only person who wants it on IPhone...
