So do we know yet if this is going to be two-player co-op in the campaign yet? Assumed? No idea? I know that 6-player co-op is apparently going to be included, but I'm assuming that's Mercenaries or some non-campaign mode.
I appreciate what they tried with the co-op in RE5 and had fun with it, but I would really, really like to go back to single player only.

@The Pork Most likely gonna be co-op. All the three main characters shown in the trailer (Leon, Chris, and the new guy) seems to have a partner...Leon has Harper, Chris has one of his squadmates, and the new guy always has a girl with him. Hopefully, the game finds a good balance between action and horror. RE5 was good, but went over-the-top with action.

Every main male character in this game has a hot female sidekick to make sure the mouth breathing mountain dew drinking male audience doesn't think the male protagonists are into dudes, it's like in the last Star Trek movie they threw in a scene that identified Spock and Uhura as lovers to make sure nobody thinks Kirk and Spock are lovers.

That is some truly uncreative character design,they both look like those awful diesel costumes in the equally awful Devil May Cry 2. Leon looks like he's wearing a black trashbag bring back the bomber jacket!

Sigh... Does every single character really need a partner? They could have really taken advantage of the multiple characters to satisfy both audiences. Leon could play solo like RE4, the others could play co-op like RE5/ORC. But I guess they're dead set on babysitting us at all times.

@Lucky48 Yeah, I realize that, but a good portion of it was. Even after you'd rescued her, you were separated for a good portion after that. Not to mention, you could hide her in a box until you'd cleared out an area.

Hmm - might want to rethink that last name Capcom. Harper is a dirty word here in Canada right now (he's our prime minister), and he will be even more disliked among the gamer generation once he passes his new copyright legislation.

Thay's a really good point actually. I never thought of it that way. I suppose I am ok with a partner then, but i'm skeptical if they'll do it right. Hopefully, they find a balance between a helpless teenager and an ammo wasting, herb yielding safety net that was RE5.
