Can't wait for this.
Whenever someone asks me what Sins is like I always use the example of when me and my friend started a match fairly early in the evening and intended to play for just a couple hours since we both had to be up in the morning... We finished at 4am.

@Ferrous No offense but that just sounds liek you're terrible. It takes 2-3 hours for that technology TOPS. Unless you're 100% focusing on military first...which would be foolish since you can get minerals and stuff faster with the non-miltiary research. can't wait for this, I pirated the original..put 50 hours into it..bought it and all the expansions. such a great game

Does this game have a single player game at all? I hate playing with strangers, especially since I tend to suck.

No campaign, but the AI for skirmishes is very convincing, and has 6 difficulty settings and 3 play styles. One match on a large map could last as long as an entire campaign in other games.
I haven't dared to go online yet - although I play with housemate occasionally - but I still play the game daily.

You can play against AI opponents, but the AI is oblivious to certain strategies against it. That's still the main way I play though. After a certain point, you became unbeatable, but it can take 8 hours to get there.
When I played online, I was horrible. Matches were much shorter and I basically had my *** handed to me within 15 minutes.
