The sensation filled him with lust, and shame, and when his helmet finally hit the floor the resulting clang reverberated throughout the halls of the still-sleeping ship.

"Not here," he whispered, his breath clouding in the humid, recycled air. "They'll catch us for certain, we'll both be killed."

"SCREEEEEEEEEE," she cooed back, extending her ovipositor and whispering into his ear with her second mouth. "Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."

I would just add that I think the only female Alien is the queen...so this is sort of a man on man thing going on. Oh well, in the future, the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell allows all sorts into the military. But I would have a problem with this.

Also, most other sites don't write Alien fanfic to go along with their sales numbers. That takes time to produce something special like that.

So THIS is the stuff Ridley Scott has been keeping underwraps for Prometheus. That's gonna make for one steamy theatre!

This is an incredibly bad trend for the Vita. Sure, the 3DS also had a rocky start, but the Vita has no excuses other than people just aren't interested in it. No natural disaster, great launch games, comparatively reasonable price point. If you take a look at the first 6 weeks of sales for both consoles, the 3DS outsold the Vita by almost 320,000 units. Hell, the 3DS sold more in the first two weeks than the Vita's sold in the first six. Does anyone really believe that it's going to do better in the US? With barely any advertising? I don't get Sony's plan here.

I think that despite it's weak launch lineup, the 3DS still had more games that appealed to japanese consumers. Until more japanese games launch, this trend will continue. It also really doesn't help that the 3DS got Monster hunter at the same time.

Woah woah woah, a Sony handheld in Japan obviously has a lot of interest. I think the issue is that it has a short battery life and requires an expensive memory card. Of course a monster hunter would help too.

But those are big problems. The memory card pricing won't get better for a while and the battery won't get better until they do a redesign.

Honestly, i'm not sure how it will sell here, but everyone i've seen demo it at bb/gs has been impressed. I think once more people get their hands on it it will do fine.

It does have advertising though. the taco bell campaign just started, and Bestbuy and gamestop both have demo units on hand.

I suspect the marketing will really start in force as we approach the 15th and the early bundle, as well as the 22nd. I wouldn't be surprised to see a superbowl commercial ether.

I don't think sony is expecting to break any sales records but they will make money in the long run. I mean look at the sales of the PSP. They have something like 60 million+ sold. While it's no where near what the DS and it's many versions have sold it's still 60 million+

I appreciate you're playing devil's advocate to people who are excited about the PSV (myself included), but take my advice: go get eaten.

Of course the Vitas sales are gonna go down, no new games were released since launch.

This week Gravity Daze and Wipeout 2048 are out. Watch the sales go up now, and when Persona 4 hits it, sales will skyrocket

@jackdan594 Uh, WipEout 2048 released on the 19th. These sales covered 16-22.

@jackdan594 Gravity Daze is a small new IP and Wipeout does not enjoy a significant popularity in Japan. They're not going to cause a notable boost in sales.

Persona, however, surely will (it's the single release on the horizon I'd consider buying a Vita for), but there's still the steep price point to consider.

@A Sandwich Only WipEout is out, actually. But Gravity Daze isn't out until the 9th, so I don't understand the "this week" phrasing either way.

In fact, it's news to me that Persona is coming out on the Vita, but then again I don't pay much attention to this stuff that I'm not interested in.

WipEout 2048 was released last week. It didn't even chart in the Top 20 (for real). It sold less than 5,000 units.

so the only system that went up in sales were the 360 and ps2? i don't really think you can judge how good a system is just by sales numbers. i think once games start rolling out for vita more will start to sell.

I know that this is going to sound racist, but I can't stand seeing inter-species couples. I really think that humans should stick with humans, and xenomorphs should stick with xenomorphs. Besides, human/alien hybrids are ugly as all get out and dumb as bricks.
