Serious question: Are there any notable Wii games left to release before Wii U? or is the system pretty much done?

Judging that the half dozen notable games a year that the Wii has slipped to, it's done.

There is Xenoblade Chronicles and maybe the other games people are trying to get released here in the US from Operation Rainfall such as the Last Story, but other than that I have no idea in regards to a big title release.

From the look of current affairs it seems that Xenoblade Chronicles could end up be the last Wii game I buy...ever. Granted there's always the chance for something special to pop up.

To add onto what's already mentioned...

Mario Party 9, Dragon Quest X, Epic Mickey 2, La-Mulana remake, and Rodea: The Sky Soldier.

Had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find those titles though.

@Alexisonfire

The others I'll give you, but Dragon Quest X is the bottom of the barrel?

Hah.

This is actually more games than I expected; I thought Skyward Sword was pretty much the last game for the system (I've already played Xenoblade) until I realised, yay, Rhythm Heaven!

If DQX does turn out to be ported to Wii U (that's only a rumour, right?) then probably not worth getting it on Wii, at least for those who expect to pick up U at launch.

Not sure about Last Story.

So two games featuring Ezio (or at least an Ezio costume) release on the same day. Convenient.

Twisted Metal demo looks like the only thing I'll go for this week. Any reviews on SCV?

@Hong Dong

I got it at midnight and got to play it for about three hours in total. It's a lot of fun. Not what I'm used to in fighters, but interesting to say the least. Everyone there that was a SC vet seemed to enjoy it a lot.

Syndicate demo for me! I love Starbreeze, so anything that they have on the way always has my attention. On the other hand, I tried The Darkness II demo and was left a little underwhelmed. I know that they had nothing to do with it, and that's the problem.

The first game was the one that really got me to sort of appreciate the FPS genre. It's story was simple, but very good. I loved the subtle RPG elements such as the ability level up your Darkness powers as well as to wander about both the subway stations and town and be able to talk to people in order to pick up side quests. Another thing that I absolutely adored about the first game was the absolutely awesome blend of both the mafioso and supernatural elements. I don't think I've ever played a game quite like that before. The Darkness, to me, is one of the best games that I've played this entire generation. I know that this is shocking seeing as how this is coming from someone who plays primarily JRPGs, but it's the truth!

I'm just nervous that whoever is doing the second game is going to botch up the successful formula set up by Starbreeze. I know it's just a demo, but I can't help but be a little pessimistic about The Darkness II.

TL;DR: Starbreeze and the first Darkness rules!
