While most sports fans are concerned with the Super Bowl right now, a small contingent of baseball diehards are eagerly counting down the days to Spring Training and the subsequent launch of this year's multi-platform baseball sim, MLB 2K12.

As someone with a 360 and not a PS3, I dream of the day where this game is actually good. Or even not the worst thing ever. It doesn't even have to be as good as MLB The Show. Although that would be nice.
2K, please take note - I WILL PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT THE DAY IT COMES OUT IF YOU CAN MAKE IT NOT THE WORST THING EVER

for as bad as MLB 2K is graphically and gameplay wise, they've nailed the commentary (which MLB The Show would take note)

does the same part of 2k that makes NBA2k12 make this? If not they should and then they would have a golden game every year.

Sorry, but no "diehards" buy this game. I bought a PS3 for the express use of playing the Show.
Only one more year of exclusivity on 2K's deal, then hopefully we'll see the MVP franchise return!

I'm a "diehard" fan with a PS3 and have made the switch to 2K. The Show is more popular for some reason, but people enjoy different things. The commentary is leagues ahead in 2K and the pitching interface in 2K is more rewarding and enjoyable for me. The pitching is the number one reason for me buying 2K.

Just one long year left until XBox users have the chance to maybe, just maybe, get an MLB game that isn't dog excrement.
