Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc HD hits XBLA, PSN on March 21

The promised HD revamp of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc has gotten itself a release date. As you can see from the trailer above, the third game in Michel Ancel's whimsical Rayman platformer series (just recently invigorated by the excellent Rayman Origins), updated with HD graphics and sound, arrives on March 21.

You'll also see that Rayman's a bit blue for some of this adventure. Don't be so sad, Ray! Any old-school Rayman is a welcome sight to our eyes.

Great game. Recently repurchased it for Gamecube.

Honestly Rayman has to be one of the worst character designs ever.
It feels like a mascot gone wrong

1. Rayman is boss. Not just cool, or awesome, or anything like that. Boss.
2. Shoulda grown up with the platforming craze of the 16-bit era... then you'd think twice about saying that.

Though Rayman 2 (PS2 version) is my favorite Rayman game, I'm saddened on how much it over shadowed 3. They are both great games that deserve everyone's attention!

I'll more than likely buy this, it was the first PC game i finished without cheat codes, i miss cheat codes...

Never played this one so might give it a shot. Here's hoping that 2 gets the same treatment for arcade (unless it has already?) as well as Rayman Arena. :)

If the price is right, and Ubi doesn't sell this with "if you buy this, it'll support BG&E2" like Origins and BG&E HD before it, I may bite. Origins wasn't very good, so it'd be nice to revisit a good Rayman game.

Slap a $9.99-14.99 price tag on it, give it a plat and I'm sold. And, as for a bit of wishful thinkin', offer BG&E HD for free along with it, 'cuz I've already written off BG&E2 for now.

You didn't like Origins? I loved it, right up there with Great Escape for me.

Never played Rayman 3 before so might get depending on the price. I'll just have beat Rayman and Rayman 2 to get caught in those games.

I would have bought a rayman 2 remake, but not this.
