Rockstar lives up to its name in Q3

Rockstar Games should be partying like, well, itself, according to the stats released in Take-Two's Q3 fiscal report. Rockstar has sold through more than 13 million units of Red Dead Redemption worldwide and more than 5 million units of L.A. Noire since launch. The mobile version of Grand Theft Auto 3 beat all the odds and reviews to become Take-Two's best-selling mobile title to date.

I used to hate rockstar, all the games seemed the same to me. Even GTA was getting stale. But between RDR and LA Noire, I'm eagerly awaiting to see what GTA5 holds.

I've always liked Rockstar myself. Manhunt 1 & 2, Bully, and The Warriors were great GTA alternatives...not to mention the Midnight Club series. Shit, I'm STILL playing Midnight Club: LA!!! And GTA itself is great! But yeah, RDR & LA Noir are def. awesome games that broadened their horizons. Love me some R*!!!

great news. I wasn't thrilled with gta4 but I love the general direction that Rockstar is heading in. These are two of my favorites this gen.

Congrats to R*!
Max Payne 3 is looking to be another stellar game and should be another multi-million unit seller.
Hopefully soon after that, GTAV will be next!

Whatever happened to The Agent? Did that just get scrapped or are they just taking their time?
