@Tradio If you're referring to his alleged support of Rick Santorum, check his Twitter because he has denied supporting any candidate (but it will be a Republican candidate - he doesn't like Obama). It's unfortunate that he's a born-again Christian, but his personal life is irrelevant to the music.

@Tradio The way I see it is this; although Mustaine is a moron outside of music, he's completely brilliant once he gets behind a guitar.

For that reason, I am buying this pack. HELL YES SYMPHONY!

I don't see why him being Republican or Christian is a bad thing. I don't look down on Actors or Musicians because they're NOT christian, or are liberals.
It's not an "Unfortunate" thing that he's born-again christian, the issue is your intolerance.

@Kaemon also, let me say something constructive here. every dollar you have is a vote. arguably, it's louder than your actual ballot vote. i'm voting to not support someone who believes in a politician whose stance of inequality and bigotry is well documented. it's not harmonix's fault and i'm sure i'll be back to buying dlc like clockwork next week, but just like i wouldn't buy a chicken sandwich from someone who bankrolls anti-gay initiatives, i'm not buying music from them either.

@John Magnum

Going by the video on the blog it is the Original Studio Version. It will not be the United Abominations version.

Someone is still going to come in here bitching about how there isn't enough metal being poured out for Rock Band.

I like Megadeth. Mustaine and crew don't make the best band, but they put on a good show and release consistently entertaining tunes.

@darkinchworm You mean me? Nah, I'm pretty pleased with the amount of metal -or songs in general- that's being poured into the marketplace. I like the fact that Harmonix is still supporting this game and it'll only be a matter of time before I have as many Rock Band songs as I have real songs in my iTunes. My issue, a personal one at best, being a keyboardist, was that there wasn't enough metal songs that take advantage of the keyboard peripheral, seeing as though they added the instrument but miss the opportunity to make it as crazy as the guitar or drums or bass or whatever. Like maybe dish out some Children of Bodom or Nightwish or something. I asked for Alestorm a while back and to my surprise they had Alestorm dlc (and one more coming) so I guess only time will tell. I like pretty much most of the songs that came out and on-disc from all genres (The exception I guess is that Abnormality songs from RB2, that song was a freakin turd.) but I just feel that there isn't enough melodic or symphonic metal yet.

Alestorm is available? Wow, I missed that. But I do agree that there isn't much in the way of metal that takes advantage of the keyboard. Shame really :-T
