There are lots of things worth knowing about 140. For one, it's a side project created by Playdead's Jeppe Carlsen, whose previous work includes creating the puzzles for the excellent Limbo. You might also like to know that it's an IGF nominee. Finally, you should know that 140 is going to be at GDC next month, and we are all over it.
Those are good things to know, but what you need to do is watch the trailer right this very second.
First trailer for IGF-nominated game '140' has been released.
Copenhagen, Denmark, Feburary 9th, 2013
The trailer for Independent Games Festival nominee, upcoming rhythm platformer '140' by Jeppe Carlsen has just been released. 140 is a challenging minimalistic platformer with abstract colorful graphics. Rhythmic awareness is required to overcome obstacles controlled by an energetic, yet melancholic electronic soundtrack by Jakob Schmid. The game is nominated for Excellence in Audio in IGF 2013, as well as getting honorable mention in Technical Excellence.
The new trailer can be streamed or downloaded and freely distributed from Vimeo.
