Starting at $1,799.99, the 14-inch Blade is powered by a "future 4th-gen Intel Core" processor – otherwise known as a Haswell – eight gigs of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 765M. Its screen outputs at a resolution of 1600 x 900, and its data is stored on a SATA III SSD drive that comes in 128, 256 and 512 gigabyte flavors. Razer says the battery will last "up to six hours," and that its wireless interweb adaptor is "up to five times" faster than other wireless-N devices on the market.
The new 17-inch Razer Blade Pro looks pretty much the same as last year's second-generation Razer Blade, though its internal bits have been upgraded to the 14-inch model's hot new digs and its starting price has been lowered by $200, down to $2,300. The Pro also includes an Ethernet port and Razer's proprietary capacitive multitouch LCD display/trackpad, two features that have been omitted from the 14-inch Blade.
