Developed by Swedish indie studio Zoink!, Stick It To The Man is a puzzle-platformer starring Ray, an unassuming fellow who somehow finds himself with a giant pink arm jutting out of his brain. Thanks to video game logic, Ray can use this inexplicable limb to manipulate the world around him and read other people's thoughts – a helpful attribute given that Ray is framed for a crime by "The Man" and must use his powers to avoid paying for a crime he didn't commit.
Unique to the Wii U incarnation of Stick It To The Man are Gamepad controls. Though we lack an exact description of how this new element functions, Zoink! describes it as an "innovative way of using the GamePad to mindread characters in the game, further separating the mindreading world from Ray's world."
So far no price point has been established for the Wii U version of Stick It To The Man, though with the Steam version at $15 and the PlayStation iterations at $13, it seems likely that the Wii U game will be somewhere in that area.
Critically acclaimed platform-adventure game sticking itself on Wii U this Spring!
February 2014: Platform-adventure fans will be able to grab crazy mind-reading game Stick It To
The Man on Wii U this Spring. Developed by the creative minds at Zoink! and published by Ripstone,
with dialogue by Ryan North (creator of Dinosaur Comics and writer of Adventure Time comic); Stick
It To The Man continues to receive critical acclaim after its launch last year on PlayStation®3, PS Vita
& PC; since then Nintendo fans have been sticking thoughts in the teams minds for a Wii U version of
the game - which they could not ignore!
Stick It To The Man will have you exploring a world made of paper and stickers; helping Ray who
has just woken up from a bizarre accident with a giant pink spaghetti arm sticking out of his brain.
This gives him awesome powers and he can suddenly change the world around him by folding it,
tearing it, pulling stickers off and sticking them elsewhere! And if that weren't enough, Ray can also
read people's minds! Digging into the brains of his fellow citizens, Ray can hear their thoughts and
use that to his advantage. Unfortunately, Ray doesn't have much time to get to grips with his new
abilities. He is framed by 'The Man' with a crime he didn't commit, and is on the run. Can you help to
get Ray out of this sticky situation?
Stick It To The Man has been optimised for Wii U and features a unique & innovative way of using
the GamePad to mindread characters in the game further separating the mindreading world from
Ray's world. Creating a cool way to play the game especially for Nintendo fans – check out the team
at Zoink showing off this awesome new feature.
