vspace="4" border="1" />Two of the great things about the success of the "Age of..." series are that you can always find
someone to play online, and even years later people are still making free, new scenarios.</p>

<p>"The Heroes of Avalon" is a new quest in which you have to bring together a group of heroes in order to defeat a
dragon. Tried and true concept, great execution and a smooth music track lifted from Elder Scrolls III: Morrowmind make
this a must download for Mythology fans.</p>

align="right" border="1" height="160" hspace="4" vspace="4" width="240" />The New York Times reports on how&#160;3D
perspective games are starting to find their way onto to cellphones today, using the upcoming Spiderman release for the
N-Gage (proving there's at least one N-Gage fan out there) as an example. Nvidia is working on the hardware, as you
might suspect, and has licensed a 3D engine from a developer in Japan called <a href="http://www.hicorp.co.jp/">HI
Corporation</a>. The Times thinks that&#160;being able to play&#160;first person shooters on cellphones is going to be
some sort of bonanza for&#160;game publishers, but we don't think any of this will have Nintendo (or Sony) shaking in
their boots, especially since the Game Boy has been able to handle 3D for ages (at least in video game time).</p>

<p>If you had a PC back in 1984 then you had a copy of Roberta Williams' classic King's Quest. The game introduced the
PC world to adventure style games, as well as the 2.5D world (it featured perspective backgrounds with non-perspective
characters, sort of like an old fashioned cartoon). Sierra would never re-release this game, it's simply too small of
an audience. However, if you're longing for something to do and want to get some PCjr flashbacks then download this
"tribute" (read: free, but probably illegal) of the game that just popped up at Download.com.</p>

hundreds of classic aracade games for free at "California Extreme 2004" in San Jose on August 7th and 8th. Included in
the mix are classics like Dragon's Lair I &amp; II, and Space Ace-games which we invested hundreds of dollars in when
we were in high school (if only we had bought Microsoft stock).</p>

Troop. If destinations like Xen'drik, Eberron and Stormreach mean something to you then race over and have a read. If
not, there are only two things you need to know:</p>

<p>First, the game will rely heavily on team play-like the pen, paper and dice version. There are no plans for
one-on-one play.</p>

<p>Second, this will not be a "click and fight"-style strategy games like Command and Conquer. Rather, you will have to
have some dexterity like Half Life 2.</p>
