Outland is one of the best games of this year - it's pretty darn amazing.

The demo was fun and it looks amazing. Definitely gonna get it when it goes on sale.

Hyperbole aside, Outland is a really good game, absolutely worth the fifteen bucks, and then some.

For what it's worth, Ubisoft (whom, I know for a fact will troll comment pots of gaming blogs) I bought it on the PS3 immediately as soon as it was available.

Maybe cause you can beat Child of Eden in less than an hour?

You must be super gamer, since I have played the game for about 3 hours, and have died at the 2nd boss more times than I care to count.

Clash of Heroes isn't even my kind of game but I gave it a shot after all the great reviews and ended up putting 68 hours into it to 100% it. I sincerely hope they do another one like it.

@Bielzer
right? It really doesn't make we want to play other match 3 games at all, though. This game just had it all presented in the right package.

This game just looks so beautiful. But I have catch up on my forever increasing to play pile. Will buy this eventually though.

I REALLY don't get all the swooning over Child Of Eden, at most I'd call the game decent but it's not nearly as fun or great as some game-reviewers or magazines would have you believe and therefore it comes as no surprise that COE isn't the game to drive Ubisofts sales.

In the undying words of Flavor Flav - "DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE"!

So we should believe you instead? I say find out for yourself and do not care what others think.

Clash of Heroes is so fantastic.

I've realized this summer that I am spending far more time with XBLA, PSN, iOS and budget games than I am with AAA releases. I'm really burned out on the repetition of themes and gameplay in most top tier titles.

Yeah, i think a lot of people are feeling the same. I cant see next year being any different either.

I think the industry is going to need some big changes in the next few years, otherwise it is going to become very stagnant.

same. More excited nowadays for XBLA games. I want to play Bastion and Ms Splosion Man before anything else right now. Can't believe how addictive Clash of Heroes became, loved it.

Child of Eden would have been a great XBLA game. Had it been downloadable out of the gate, and priced at $15 or less, it would have sold very well. As a full-price boxed game, it never had a chance.

Yeah i agree, they should have added it to the summer of arcade and removed Fruit ninja Kinect.

I would have gotten it for sure if it was 1200 points. The first Kinect Arcade game ever released! I can't even think what kind of cheevos are in that game, if it's 3 hours long..

Just some input on Child of Eden, both of my local Best Buys were sold out after the initial launch day for about 3 weeks. I sounded like they didn't have many copies to begin with-- I ended up giving up on Best Buy and finding a copy elsewhere. When I questioned Best Buy when/if they were going to have more, they said they didn't know or maybe in the next shipment (but it never was). I'm really not seeing quantities of this game anywhere. But then again, Best Buy seems to be running "leaner" these days for a lot of items.

I love Clash of Heroes. An excellent purchase, and a great value at $15. I have several big budget titles on Standby mode while I finish up with it. I want MORE like this. You publishers and developers listening?

There has been a real lack of turn-based strategy games this generation, at least on home consoles. I find that odd, when people are STILL playing FFT and Tactics Ogre, and clamoring for more.

Glad to see both of those games performed well, especially Clash of Heroes. I bought it when it came out for DS, but the fact that it can perform well in the digital marketplace as well certainly says something about the state of the current gaming market.
