Roy Campbell

Players first met Colonel Roy Campbell in Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, where he served as Snake's mission commander. Campbell's first appearance chronologically came in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, where he meets Big Boss while both are being held prisoner. Big Boss recruits Campbell to help lead what would eventually become FOXHOUND.

In MGS4, Campbell is officially retired, but is charged with providing Snake with his final mission.
