Liquid Ocelot (4 of 17)
Liquid Ocelot
He's two - two! - bad guys in one. In what can only be described as one of the most far-fetched plot devices in videogame history, Liquid Ocelot is a man - Revolver Ocelot - controlled by the ... arm of another man, Snake's clone brother, Liquid Snake.
Revolver Ocelot is (ostensibly) an agent of The Patriots. His actions throughout the series, however, have lead players to believe he is (at the bare minimum) a quadruple-crosser, playing every side to promote a plan all his own.
After losing his forearm in combat during MGS1, he later receives a transplant from Snake's deceased genetic twin. In MGS2, the arm is able to "take over" Ocelot when Snake is near, causing him to act and speak like Liquid Snake. By MGS4, it seems that Liquid has totally pushed Revolver out of the picture, hence "Liquid Ocelot."
The ability to channel Liquid Snake is loosely explained by the fact that Revolver Ocelot's father, an MGS3 character named The Sorrow, could communicate with the dead.
In MGS4, Liquid Ocelot is the leader of Outer Haven, an umbrella corporation which controls all of the world's PMC (private military contractor) companies.
