I sort of have to disagree with it being boring. I always TiVo my results shows, (actually most shows for that matter). I hate waiting between commercials, so that wasn't an issue for me.
I usually find my self hitting the 30 second skip button 110 times when watching American Idol just to get through the first 55 minutes. While I love American Idol I absolutely detest the results show. I hate the Ford commercials, the shamless promotion of some singer, the stupid banter between Simon and Ryan. (If Carrie and the host start making thinly veiled lesbian jokes, the shows over for me).
On this show I watched most of it. I liked how we saw the contestants reactions at the house afterwards, but it wasn't your typical reality show house drama. I like how we actaully see who was in the top 3 unlike Idol. Now, with 18 contestants it was a little tedious, but as that number goes down it will be better.
I will give me thoughts on my top 3 and bottom 3. I liked, 1-Ghetta Room, funny, he sort of seemed mentally challenged, but he also reminded me of Dwight Schrute. 2-Spaced Out, barfing alien muppets are just funny 3-Replication Theory, "It was me", great line 4-Danger Zone, was good and cool but not as funny as the others. It was a night for comedy shorts, and laughs are more important than looks.
16-Bus #1, why were they on a school bus? 17-The lightbulb one, It made no sense, it was like the Rozerum sleeping pill commercial without the wise cracking Beaver thing. 18-Whack Cab. what was that? If I just licked a toad, maybe it would've been good.
