Can I just ask why everyone assumes Natal will be incompatible with peripherals? I could fully see a lightsaber peripheral with a few IR emitters or a Halo Assault Rifle being bundled with games. In fact, I'd be surprised if others haven't already done it.
I never was one for alts, so when I got pretty decently geared on my rogue pre-BC I went on all sorts of crazy runs of instances I hadn't done before or hadn't done enough (I thought).
My first Sunken was at 60 in full epics (god knows I'd tried before, but PUGs never worked), and I two-manned Mara with just me and a paladin.
I got really good at tanking Scholo and Strat, chain-pulls all around and just sort of relying on being able to take them down before we got overwhelmed. I loved tanking as combat, just hitting Adrenaline Rush and Blade Flurry was awesome every time.
As far as shooters go, I thought Operation Flashpoint was a real bitch later on in the game. There was one particular mission that stuck in my head, Lone Wolf or something. Stranded alone in a forest with absolutely ridiculous numbers of enemies all around, armed with naught but an AK74 and rocket launcher.
System Shock 2 wasn't all that difficult - it was challenging and ammo conservation was a big part, but perhaps the biggest challenge was the constant respawns. Meant you had to keep moving or slowly run out of ammo.
Honestly, CapAmerica, you liked Super Mario Bros.? Really? Because Mortal Kombat would have been semi-acceptable, Silent Hill as well. But Super Mario was just atrocious. It was so bad it hurt, and I thought so when I first saw it at age 8.
Like someone mentioned above, would only be worth it if they get naked. But since they don't, I'll pass.
