Leak Peek: Say hello to the new Renault Twingo

Mar 6th 2007 4:37AM (Autoblog)
Maybe it's because it is 3.30AM CST and everyone is tired, but the pictures of the blue Twingo clearly show a two-pane, panoramic sunroof.

LEGO MMO in the works by indie dev NetDevil

Sounds like it could be cool. Not to sound picky, but the plural of LEGO is "LEGO" or "LEGO bricks", not "LEGOs".

By the Numbers: February 2007

If you are going to include PAG with Ford, then include Mercedes-Benz with Chrysler. It is an unfair comparison otherwise.

CONFIRMED: Taurus, Taurus X and Sable return for 2008

I'm extremely bothered by the name "Taurus X". It's just dumb. Why not call it the Taurus Wagon, because that is what it is!

What hope that Ford can do more than rebadge cars does this give? For how many years now has Ford said "we are going to stop rebadging". And they don't! It has been at least a decade..."next time we will diferentiate them more..." blah blah. Now look at Ford. Five years ago, would anyone have ever though that Chrysler would be outselling Ford in the US? Toyota, maybe, but Chrysler?

Ford's Premier Auto Group expected to turn a profit in 2007

The BMW 3-Series is not built in the USA. However, Mercedes-Benz has imported C-Class from Brazil, which helps them keep the prices low.

Ford may bring Mondeo, S-Max to U.S.

Guys, the European prices are NO INDICIATION of what they would be in the US. Cars are more expensive in Europe, period. A BMW 328xi, that cost $38,000 in the US, is almost $50,000 for a base model in Europe. You can easily chop 20-25% off the European prices to get an idea of the US prices. The European prices also include VAT, a 17-20% tax.

Detroit Auto Show attendance drops for fourth straight year

708,000? That is pathetic. At this rate Miami's show will pass it soon. They had 650,000 this year.
