Let me guess - A release in the USA followed by a 6 month lag before release in Europe? No, of course not, I'm just cynical.
Now, anyone in Europe got Novastrike yet?

Nope. The game's coming out at a time when there are already a BIG set of PS3 games coming out. LBP, Motorstorm2, Resistance2, and so on. Followed up by something call Killzone2 in February ;-). This is not the best time to be releasing a year old game.

It looks very slick, well presented and the nice touch being that whilst viewing the 'LIVE' channel, Folding@Home is still running. The screensaver has also taken a slight upgrade.
Two points for improvement -
1. A slightly fiddly thing is that when you select your area on the world map and then click on the news items, there's no zoom. So even on today's large LCDs it's still a little tricky to read the detail.
2. It would be cool to be able to filter the new news channels so that instead of getting banking news (I'm depressed!) I can feed sports news through the LIVE channel for my region.

That was a mighty long 'couple of weeks'! It's just landed in Europe SEVEN weeks late.

Available for $15! wow! I'll be expecting to see this pop up on the UK PSN Store for £7.50 then... [wry sarcastic grin]

Wait for the US Store update and log on with my US account, check.

Does this mean US, Europe or every territory? I'll be willing to wager a few quid on being US 1st and then Europe in 2009.
