It doesn't make sense to bundle the Halo3 game with this console. There's the Standard Edition, Collector's Edition, and Legendary Edition. What if the console came bundled with the standard edition, but you wanted to buy the legendary edition?

It's all about choice. Chances are people who buy this console will end up buying Halo3 anyways so it's more money in the pocket for Microsoft.

Good to hear that the Drums feel pretty good. I was worried that it might feel to plastic-y and fake to keep the costs down. Looks like Harmonix proved me wrong once again!

This will be the ultimate party game this holiday for sure.

After seeing the guitar and drums in action, it looks like the quality of the hardware is definately in place. Which makes the high price tag justified.

I'm just not too sure about the microphone - they didn't show too much of that yet.

Good to see Japanese developers pick the Xbox 360 as its first platform of choice.

It's nice that they're giving us options. I guess for some people, the guitar being wired won't matter to them so they have the option to save some $$$ and go with the wired guitar.

But yeah, like the comments above, propriety format FTL :(

It it's true, it'll be a bit upsetting. A $20 difference is still a difference and it might offset people to buy the PS3 version instead.

Have they shown what the guitars on the PS3 will look like yet? Or will it look exactly the same as the 360?

Definately picking up this game. I already have two 360 guitars so I'm using those. Unless the new Fenders are that much more awesome. I hope the drums/microphone won't cost too much.
