"months between reboots." That made me laugh, remembering how frequently had to pull the battery on my curve and tour to keep them running properly. I also recall that a "battery pull" app with an option to schedule a nightly reboot to keep things running well was one of the most popular apps in app world.

Having actually listened to this yesterday, the facts of this article are incorrect. He did mention that it could run 300+ miles with the gas engine after the battery runs out.

Meh. I had an 8330 and now have a 9630. I'm done. Completely disappointed in RIM and the absolute lack of any innovation. They just keep changing the form factor, making the interface slightly more pretty and maybe throwing in an extra 128MB of storage. Forget it. My Tour is only marginally better than my Curve was. My next phone will likely be an android device. RIM has spent the last couple years resting on its laurels. Nothing new here.
