Valve has a monopoly because Valve do it right.

They said they aren't going to do that, and they don't have to. Capcom really doesn't owe you anything. I think what they are doing is a wise move. Releasing a vastly updated version of the game (but still a version of an existing game) at a budget price with a bonus to owners of the original game is probably best for everyone. Not just spoiled people who think everything should be (sometimes free) DLC.

Comparing this game to BlazBlue is an apple to oranges situation IMO. I think BlazBlue is a better game than the original SFIV, but if the 3 rumored SFIII characters are in(Makoto, Dudley, Ibuki) and the online is vastly improved I don't see why it can't knock BlazBlue of its throne for me. But then there's Continuum Shift which DOESN'T seem to include Jubei, which makes me rage.

You guys can't be serious...I think you need to read up on some rumors(which may as well be true) on event hubs and watch the GameSpot interview. They are adding 8+ new characters, significantly better online, rebalancing/tweaking/adding to the existing roster of 25, adding new features to the core game, bonus stages, and more. All for probably $30-$50 and with some kind of bonus to those who own the original SFIV. I think for people like me who get a lot out of their fighting game purchases(SFIV I got for $20, BB for $60) I think this is all fine. If I am getting my money's worth who cares? Games priced at $10-$15 on XBLA and PSN are more than worth the price some times.

Spelunky is a game that I have gotten a ton of enjoyment out of, more than quite a few games I've played in the past few years that cost $60(Mass Effect, Mirror's Edge, Assassin's Creed, etc). I could say the same thing about Cave Story, TF2(I got it at $20), Shadow Complex, flower, Super Stardust HD, and probably some more too.

Maybe think the game is FUN god forbid people ENJOY a fighting game on a non super serious level. Just because tournament players are lame, doesn't mean people who are down to earth only play the best characters.

I don't get it. Everyone says the Wii has no games. Then whenever it gets a good game, people whine and wish that it would come out on other systems. Doesn't make any sense.

I want the kingdom hearts DSi, or even better a World Ends With You DSi so I don't have to buy the WEWY DS Lite for $230.
