Hi have both. I've got a 32GB touch. I got this before I got my iPhone. I only got the iPhone because they were clearing out of old 2G models before the 3G was released last year. I use them both daily.

The problem is people are/were expecting it to be a re-make of the original game. Golden Axe: Beast Rider isn't a re-make, re-imagining or sequel to Golden Axe. It’s a game set in the Golden Axe universe. I've played it for quite a few hours and actually enjoyed the mindless hacking and slashing. The game doesn't require you to follow an in-depth story, it just wants you to ride mega beasts and destroy stuff. It has its flaws, as do most games (Saints Row 2 I’m looking at you) but if you want a simple hack-n-slash it’ll satisfy your bloodlust.

It just reminds me of Discworld - and that's a good thing!

I saw exactly the same article in this month's "Specticle and Glasses Wearer" magazine. Their headline was "Specticle wearer gets shot while attempting to stop a robbery".

Gamer's do good deeds everyday and they go unreported. Doctors, nurses, cops, firecrew - all do good everyday and I bet some of them are gamers too. Don't see any gaming site doing a story about them. Imagine the headlines "CS Fan OWNZZZ Malignant Tumour"
