didn't think of it like that but this is america the "get it while it last" works wonders. the car dealerships do it all the time. "we've cut the price of the 07 models to make room for the 08 models come and get them while they last"

i don't understand those on this tread that say "i was going to buy one but not now" they didn't raise the price of the 60 gig they just said when it's gone it's gone. so if you wanted to get a 60 gig at 499 go get one. it's still a pricecut it might not last but if you feel like this is a good price for you to buy a ps3 then buy one if not buy something else.

eh if they have 6 million ps3s sold by the time the game comes out i think it would do fine. the last one only sold a little over 3 million copies. this game has gotten so much hype and there's not a lot of ps3 game out atm it's not a far reach for 50% of the userbase to pick this game up if not more.

well honestly i hope it goes to 360 at some point because it's going to be a great game just like the other 5 where (yes i count the nes ones they where some of my favorite nes games) and everyone should get the chance to play it. i'm just glad its coming to ps3 first :P

they want it just to not be a ps3 exclusive; mircrosoft has an obsession with beating sony and it has trickled down to their fans.

yeah but still it's way too much for an fps imo. the single player in these games are way too short and the online community is horrible. i've played crappy games that have had good communities that make the game fun, maybe the crappy community make me not enjoy the game. but it also might be the fact that when i say i don't like it i get told it's either "i must suck at it" or somehow i "haven't played the right map" most halo fans just can't grasp that some people don't like their game.

it's sad how fast they're starting to pump these things out now. it's been what 6 years and they're on the 3rd game. so i'm guessing we expect halo4 to be out 2009?

lol i was just making a point i myself use gamefly to test out games and if they crap (like most games now days are) i send it back. if it's good i keep it

downloading a game doesn't bother me (most people that do that wouldn't buy the game anyway) but this is someone taking advantage of the buyer and inturn hurting the companies that make the games. this is bad for everyone except the asshole making the copies . well till he gets caught i guess.
