Couldn't they just make the battery smaller since it wouldn't have to store as much charge anymore?

Who cares about news paper.. I'd use this stuff as wall paper if it were that cheap. Even on the ceiling in the bedroom for watching my favorite "shows" in bed.

Personally demo play doesn't bother me so long as the game records the number of times you've used it. It's not different from games having hard and easy levels and achievements. So long as you are rewarded for not using it I'm fine.

So what happens when you have two more more people on a couch?

I actually like what Nintendo is doing here (making gaming more mainstream). Video games will become a lot like TV and movies. There's going to be many different types released annually... some you'll like, some you don't.. but more is always better I'd say.

gee...what's next? Black guy playing Cooking Mama chopping up some watermelons and fried chicken?

Also the button configuration might seem "obvious" now but I'm sure it wasn't before. Take a look at the Genesis and 3DO controllers for example. 3 buttons in 1 row and 6 buttons in 2 rows!

Can someone explain to me how this causes more drag on a car anymore than a regular concrete barrier would? A car zooms by leaving "wind" above and to the sides of the car. Then the turbines will supposedly use this wind to generate electricity. But the car is long gone... why would it cause more drag? Even if the wind somehow bounces back and causes turbulence or whatever drag for other cars... how is that any different from the current concrete walls?

It wouldn't be anything more than slight tilts. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to see what's going on with the screen.
