Mar 5th 2008 2:54PM Abysmal? Really? Jackass may not be the second coming of the minigame collection, but it was a decent title that did some unique things. On the PSP at least.
D.J. Caruso In Talks To Direct 'Wolverine,' Source Says {Cinematical}
Jun 6th 2007 12:59PM How about FREDERICK Wiseman?
In all seriousness, I'd prefer Wiseman (Len) over Caruso. While the Underworld movies weren't spectacular, they did have a certain, undeniable style to them. Of course, if I had my pick I'd rather see David Fincher do a Wolverine movie. I don't know what the guy's comic book background is, but he knows how to make gritty violence look pretty. And if there's one thing Wolverine embodies, it's gritty violence.
But yeah, between these two I'd rather see Wiseman in control. I prefer take my spectacle raw, with as much over-the-top action as possible. I want a body count and not a creepy sensation.
Sony president says PS3 price drop is 'possibility' {Joystiq}
Jun 6th 2007 12:09PM A price drop would be nice, but I'd prefer some worthwhile software. I think that the console will do just fine in the long run, but it's been gathering dust on my media shelf since I bought it (I even like my Xbox 360's DVD player/hub functionality more). I can't even make excuses to use the stupid thing. So yeah... make with the software Sony. Exclusives would be nice, or day and date cross-platform releases that actually perform as well as - if not better than (imagine that) - their Xbox counterparts do.
