I like to read Joystiq because of the incredible wealth of news, but the quality of the writing is about one step above GameFAQs.

Especially in America the quality of writing has been eroded into a state I hope doesn't indicate complete extinction (maybe if that Google books worked out better). Hardly anybody reads good books anymore. Hardly anyone writes good books anymore. And those that do may not be picked up by mainstream publishers for myriad reasons, evil or not (I'm not saying that there's a global conspiracy to dumb down the general populace, but there is and we should have figured it out sooner).

Remember what David Icke says kids, to fight the lizard people we must read books in class while the teachers lecture their BS.

Anything Warren Spector says is sacrosanct;
everytime I read his words it's instant orgasm.

Please for the love of God, make your game Mr. Spector.

PS: Get System Shock license plz, make SS3 before EA does!

I think you bastards have pretty much killed every joke related to computers; there's too many of you.

If every gamer makes the same computer related joke at the same time, all around the world; does anybody laugh?

We need like the best writers here on the interweb; otherwise we'd all just be complaining ceaselessly and making fun of dumb jokes..... hmmm.
