Well as a gamestop senoir game adviser alot of gamestops are stoping all trades of DVD's also not even for store credit...so not sure how it is across the nations but our districts are starting to say no to dvd's too

I work at a gamestop, and the reason why we open new games is so we can put them on display. and we put the game in a plastic case so nothing happends to it. The only thing you don't get is the satisfaction of taking the plastic off...
